Hello,
I currently have Centrylink DSL and am required to use their modem/router which is a Zyxel C1100Z. It's in my basement and I would like to get better wifi coverage. I purchased a Netgear Orbi RBK50 and plugged the router into the Zyxel and put the satellite upstairs. However, it's not working as well as I hoped. My fire sticks buffer a lot and now my xbox lags a lot and says i'm behind double NAT. I know there must be settings within the Zyxel modem which need to be changed but I have no idea what.
Or, should I return the orbi and use my old netgear r7000 router as an AP upstairs? And how would I set that up? But would that require running a cat 5/6 cable to it? If so, then I'll keep the orbi.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
